Application Purpose: Wisdot Is Applying for Section 5311 Funds Totaling $26078115 to Support Public Transit Services Throughout Wisconsin. This Total Includes: 1) Wisconsins Remaining Ffy 2021 Section 5311 Apportionment ($15433457) 2) Wisconsins Ffy 2021 Section 5311(B)(3) Rtap Apportionment ($312520) and 3) a Portion of Wisconsins Ffy 2022 Section 5311 Apportionment ($10332138).; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Applied Towards Wisdot Program Administration Activities ($500000) and Towards Subrecipient Operating ($13894793) Capital Cost of Contracting ($1623457) Capital Equipment ($4458800) Intercity Bus Operating ($2765018) Rtap ($312520) and Jarc Operating Mobility Management ($2523527) Projects. These Funds Will Be Used Primarily for Cy 2023 Projects Though They Will Also Be Applied Towards Cy 2024 Intercity Bus Projects. Ffy 2022 Section 5311 Funds Are to Be Applied Exclusively Towards Cy 2023 Subrecipient Operating Projects.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Wisconsin Department of Transportation (Wisdot) and Its Subrecipients to Continue to Provide Vital Mobility Services Throughout the State.; Intended Beneficiaries: Intended Beneficiaries Are Rural Community Members and Visitors Throughout Wisconsin Who Depend on a Safe Efficient and Interconnected Multi-Modal Transportation System to Access Employment Education/Training Healthcare Commercial and Recreation Sites.; Subrecipient Activities: Fifty Subrecipient Public Transit Agencies Will Receive Funding to Support Their Routine Service Operations and to Purchase and Repair Capital Equipment. Four Private Intercity Bus Service Providers Will Receive Funding to Operate Eight Intercity Bus Routes Spanning the State and Nine Non-Profit Agencies Will Receive Funding to Support Eligible Job Access/Reverse Commute Operations and Mobility Management Services.
