1. The service

TheFiscalFinder is a free, informational reference that presents U.S. federal award data (contracts, grants, loans, and related records) sourced from USASpending.gov, organized so that each agency, contractor, award, and place is a page linked to the ones around it. The site is provided for general information and public-interest research.

2. Eligibility

The site is open to the general public and is not directed to children. It contains no account system and collects no personal information (see our Privacy notice).

3. Acceptable use

You may read, link to, cite, and share the pages freely. You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, circumvent security, or place automated load on it beyond ordinary browsing. Bulk or automated extraction that degrades the service is not permitted; the underlying federal data is public domain and is available directly from USASpending.gov for bulk use.

4. Intellectual property

The underlying federal award data is in the public domain (17 U.S.C. §105) and is not owned by us. Our compilation, editorial choices, computed metrics, page structure, text, and design are © 137 Finder LLC. “TheFiscalFinder” and the TheFiscalFinder logo are trademarks of 137 Finder LLC. Source data attributions belong to their respective sources.

5. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” for informational purposes only, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Source data may contain errors or omissions, and some relationships we show are computed or inferred and are labeled as such. Inferred links, including corporate parents, congressional districts, and computed competitors, are estimates and context, not official records, and are not assertions of wrongdoing. Always verify against the primary source before relying on any figure or relationship for a decision.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 137 Finder LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its data.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 137 Finder LLC from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.

8. Third-party links

The site links to third-party sites, including USASpending.gov and other public resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of sites we do not operate.

9. Changes

We may update the site or these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted here, and your continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@thefiscalfinder.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration in Massachusetts, and you and 137 Finder LLC agree to the exclusive venue of the state and federal courts located in Massachusetts for any matter not subject to arbitration.
