Description

The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (Sfrta) Is a Designated Recipient of Section 53075337 and 5339 Funding. This Application Is a Ffy 2020 Super Grant for Section 5307 Urbanized Areas Funds in the Amount of $18901446 and Section 5337 State of Good Repair Funds in the Amount of $17699 743 and Section 5339 Funds in the Amount of $597385. The Total Grant Amount Is $37198574. The Miami Urbanized Area (Uza) Split Allocation Letter Is Attached and Details the Distribution of Funds Among the Transit Partners in the Miami Uza. This Super Grant Application Will Fund Various Projects That Include Rail Yard Improvements; Onboard Cameras and Passenger Emergency Intercom; Preventative Maintenance; Planning Consultants; Passenger Information System; Pedestrian Bridges; Station Cameras; Repayment of the Sib Loan; Heavy Station Maintenance and Passenger Information System and Capital Cost of Contracting for Sfrtas Commuter Connection Shuttle Service. Sfrta Is Using Toll Revenue Credits as Soft Match in the Amount of $9150297 for the Sections 5307 and 5337 Funds. A Copy of the Available and Authorized Use of the TRC as Soft Match Letters Dated August 26 2020 Are Attached to This Grant Application. The Florida Department of Transportation Stip Pages for the Funding Is Also Attached (Fm # 236854-2 433611-1 Pages 5789 and 5795). The Section 5339 Funds Will Be Matched by a Florida Department of Transportation Block Grant in the Amount of $2259520 and Sfrta Local Funds in the Amount of $2075806. The Florida Department of Transportation Stip Pages for the Funding Is Also Attached (Fm # 435688-1 Page 5788). Attached in the Application Documents Are the Unified Planning Work Programs (Upwp) for Palm Beach Broward and Miami-Dade County. Please Refer to the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (Tpa) Upwp Adopted on May 21 2020 Pages 517182125 34 43 and 44; Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization (Mpo) Upwp Adopted on May 14 2020 Pages 1516172935366566;MIAMI-DADE Transportation Planning Organization (Tpo) Upwp Adopted on April 23 2020 Pages 21222641 A-5 A-6.THE Sfrta Confirms That the of Federal Funds to Repay the Sib Loan Is Only for Principal and Not Interest. The Sib Loan Repayment Project Is Also Included in the Following Sister Grants FL-2018-0050; FL-2019-096; FL-2019-099.THE Sfrta Will Follow All 3RD Party Procurement Policies as Defined in C4220.1F (Third Party Contracting Guidance). The Sfrta Will Ensure That Contractors Procured Are Not on the Fta Suspension and Debarment List.by Executing This Grant We Certify That Projects Funded in This Grant Are Included in the 2020 Tam Plan Investment Prioritization Section.
