Description

This Is a Ffy 2021 Section 5307 Application in the Amount of $48820730 (100% Federal Share) This Application Utilizes Crrsaa Funding to Help Respond to and Recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Application Scope of Work Is for Train and Station Preventive Maintenance. The Sfrta Certifies That No Expenses Occurred Prior to January 20 2020. The Preventive Maintenance Contract Was Procured Through Request for Proposals (Rfp) Issued on September 2 2016 and Awarded to Herzog Transit Services Inc. By the Sfrta Governing Board on January 27 2017. Htsi Will Perform the Preventive Maintenance Services. The Sfrta Has Allocated These Section 5307 Funds to the Other Designated Recipients in the Uza Broward County Transit Miami Dade Transit and Palm Tran. The Fully Executed (April 7 2021) Designated Recipient Sub-Allocation Letter Is Attached in the Recipient Documents. The Sfrta Certifies That IT and Its Subrecipients and Contractors That Are Providers of Public Transportation Have Not Furloughed Any Employees Since March 27 2020 (the Enactment of the Cares Act). The Sfrta Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.sfrta Will Follow All 3RD Party Procurement Policies as Defined in C4220.1F (Third Party Contracting Guidance). Sfrta Will Ensure Contractors Procured Will Not Be on the Fta Suspension and Debarment List.per the Crrsaa the Project(s) in This Application Is/Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-Range Transportation Plan Statewide Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
