Application Purpose: The Purpose of This Application Is to Secure a Total of $188375519 in Federal Funds to Be Matched with $47093881 in Local Funds; with a Total Eligible Cost/Grant Application of $235469401 as Sub Allocated to the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority in Accordance with the Atlanta Metropolitan Regional Policy. The Grant Project Activities Are Included in the Atlanta Regional Commission FY2020-2025 Transportation Improvement Plan and Included in the Georgia Department of Transportation Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan (Stip) by Reference.; Activities Performed: Grant Application Funds Are Anticipated to Support Martas FY20 and FY21 Preventive Maintenance (Bus Rail) Activities in Addition to Anticipated Rail Station Rail Transitway Line Rehabilitation Security/Crime Prevention and Bus Transit Enhancements Capital Activities . ; Expected Outcomes: Completion of the Grant Funded Activities Will Improve Service Delivery Enhance Customer Experience Assist with Meeting Preventive Maintenance Standards and Ensure That Assets Are Maintained in a State of Good Repair.; Intended Beneficiaries: Marta Patrons Within the Service Area of Clayton Dekalb Fulton and the City of Atlanta.; Subrecipient Activities: N/A No Subrecipients Are Included with the Grant Request.
