Funds Broken Down as Follows: Project 1 - Fy 2022 5307 $40929344 for Chicago Uza-IL Code 170030 Project 2 - Fy 2022 5339 $1450922 for Chicago Uza-IL Code 170030 Project 3 - Fy 2022 5339 $295541 for Round Lake Beach Uza-IL Code 173780PROJECT 4 - Fy 2019 5339 $19905 in Lapsing Funds for Round Lake Beach Uza-IL Code 173780.PURPOSE: The Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Funding for the Replacement of Vehicles and Equipment That Are Beyond Their Useful Life.activities to Be Performed: This Funding Will Purchase 116 Replacement Buses (Through a Combination of Fixed Route CNG Fixed Route Electric and Paratransit) That Have Met Their Useful Life and a Farebox Collection System Upgrade.expected Outcomes: Replacing Vehicles That Have Exceeded Their Useful Life Will Reduce Maintenance Costs Improve Reliability and Provide a Better Customer Experience. Replacing the 25 to 30 Year-Old Fareboxes and Systems on Fixed Route Buses Will Provide an Upgraded and Reliable Farebox Collection System to Pace and Its Customers.intended Beneficiaries: Replacing Vehicles That Have Exceeded Their Useful Life and Replacing an Out Dated Farebox Collection System Will Assist in Providing Affordable and Environmentally Responsible Transit Options for the Riders and Residents of 284 Municipalities in Cook Will Dupage Kane Lake and Mchenry Counties. Subrecipient Activities: Nonepace Will Use $8185869 in Illinois Transportation Development Credits (Tdcs) as Local Match for Section 5307 and $353274 in Tdcs as Local Match for Section 5339. Because Tdcs Do Not Provide Monetary Reimbursements the Project Total in This Grant Reflects 100% Federal Share.pace Will Expend the Required $565604 of 5307 Funds in a Security-Related Project Specifically the Video Surveillance System Equipment Which Will Be a Part of the Fixed Route CNG / Electric Bus Project Line Items in This Grant. This Application for Section 5307 and Section 5339 Federal Assistance Is Consistent with the Chicago Regional Transportation Authority Designated Recipient Allocation Letter Which Is Attached to This Application. By Executing This Grant We Certify That Projects Funded in This Grant Are Included in the 2021 Tam Plan Investment Prioritization Section. This Award Is Using Pre-Award Authority on 3 Projects: Fixed Route Electric Buses Paratransit Buses and Farebox Replacement.in Executing This Grant Pace Agrees to Abide by Section 3011 of the Fast Act (49 U.s.c. 5323(J)(2)(C) Regarding the Phased Increase in Domestic Content Under the Buy America Statute for Rolling Stock.as Grant Agreement Includes an Fta-Funded Transit Vehicle Purchase Recipient Agrees to Comply with the Related Requirements Set Forth in 49 CFR 26.49(A). Specifically Recipient Must Ensure as a Condition of Being Authorized to Bid or Propose on Fta-Assisted Transit Vehicle Procurements That Each Transit Vehicle Manufacturer Certified That IT Complied with DOT Requirements for Submitting a Dbe Program and Goal to Fta Prior to Bidding. Recipient Is Also Required to Submit the Name of the Successful Bidder and the Total Dollar Value of the Contract Within 30 Days of Making an Fta- Assisted Transit Vehicle Award Using the Required Fta Reporting Tool. Recipient Understands That Failure to Comply with These Requirements May Result in Formal Enforcement Action or Appropriate Sanction as Determined by Fta Including Reimbursement of Fta Funds Used for the Vehicle Procurement.attachments to This Application Include Tip Support Transportation Development Credit Super Grant Approval Packet Chicago Regional Transportation Authority Designated Recipient Allocation Letter Rta FY2022 Lous FY2019 Lapsed 5339 Funding Support and Rolling Stock Fy 2022 Replacement Vehicles.
