Description

This Application Is to Request Arp Act Section 5307 Funds Apportioned to the Chicago Uza-IL Code 170030 in the Amount of $71263074. Purpose: The Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Funding for Transit Operations at 100% Federal Share. Activities to Be Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Support Operating Costs Such as Salaries/Wages Fuel Vehicle Maintenance and Other Cost Incurred to Maintain Service Due to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Be Used to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to the Public Health Emergency. Activities Will Be Focused on Providing Transit Services That Help the Community Recover from the Severe Social and Economic Impacts of COVID-19. Intended Beneficiaries: This Funding Will Assist in Providing Transit Services to Allow Essential Workers and the General Public a Safe Reliable Source of Transportation. Subrecipient Activities: Nonepace Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.this Award Is Using Pre-Award Authority as Permitted by Fta in Response to the Corona Virus DISEASE-19 Public Health Emergency Announced as of January 20 2020. Pace Will Be Utilizing Pre-Award Authority to Accommodate Expenditures Starting in January 2022. This Project Meets the Goals of the Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan Approved by Rta in March 2021. The Period of Performance on This Award Overlaps with Paces Crrsaa Grant IL-2021-042 Because That Funding Was Insufficient to Cover All Eligible Operating Expenses Within That Period.attachments to This Application Include the Rta FY2021 Arpa Apportionment Allocation.
