Purpose of the Awardthis Application Obligates the Full Amount of the Supplemental Ffy 2021 Section 5307 American Rescue Plan (Arp) Additional Assistance Discretionary Funding in the Amount of $53240645 for the Denver-Aurora Metropolitan Area. The Arp Funding Was Announced on March 23 2022 (Discretionary ID D2022-RPAU-014) and Is Provided at a 100% Federal Share. RTD Will Use the Funds for Operational Related Expenses for the Period October 1 2022 to September 30 2024.ACTIVITIES to Be Performed: Consistent with the Application (Attached in Trams) RTD Plans to Use the Additional 5307 Arp Discretionary Funds for Operating Maintaining and Managing Bus and Rail Lines in the Denver Area Which Can Include Salaries Utilities and Fuel. Operational Activity May Include the Operating Portion of the Capital Cost of Contracting Not Covered Under the 5307 Program. This Application Will Not Use Pre-Award Authority.expected Outcomes: The Arp Act Funds Will Enable RTD to Continue to Provide Transit Service to the Public During the COVID-19 Pandemic and Keep Transit Agency Staff Drivers and Mechanics Employed.intended Beneficiaries: The Arp Funding Will Enable RTD to Continue Operations in Its Eight-County Area in and Around the Denver Metropolitan Area Serving Transit Patrons in the Region.subrecipient Activities: No Subrecipients Are Included in This Application.other Information: RTD Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company. Per the Arp the Activities in This Application Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-Range Transportation Plan or the Tip/Stip. Both the 1% Security Requirement and the 0.75% Safety Requirement Will Be Met with This Application.
