Project Title: Lvtip: Pleasant Unity to Airport :::: Project Description: The Proposed Work Involves Reconstruction and Widening the Roadway and Improving Both the Horizontal and Vertical Geometry Throughout the Project Limits. Corridor Improvements Include On-Line Upgrades as Well as Segments of New Alignment Where Upgrades Are Not Feasible Due to Physical/Environmental Constraints. The Project Will Provide Two 12’ Travel Lanes and 8’ Shoulders. IT Will Also Include Construction of Three Roundabouts for Improved Traffic Operations and Safety. The Project Will Include the Construction of Two Box Culverts, Drainage, Stormwater Management, and Other Miscellaneous Construction, as Indicated on the Approved Drawings Included in the Bid Package for State Route 0981, Section Y10, in Westmoreland County Mount Pleasant and Unity Townships from Approximately 1250' South of the Intersection of Bigham Road (T-581) and SR 2023 at Segment 0060 Offset 1374 to Approximately 100' South the Intersection of SR 0981 and Bay Hill Drive at Segment 0564 Offset 0586.
