Project Title: I-83 East Shore Section 3B :::: Project Description: I-83 from the SR 0230 (Cameron St) to About 1500 FT West of SR 3013 (29TH St); and Along SR 3010 (Paxton St) and 17TH ST Harrisburg City and Swatara Township Dauphin County Reconstruct and Widen for Additional Lanes on I-83 the Project Consists of the Widening and Reconstruction of an Existing 24-FOOT Roadway, Consisting of New Superpave Pavement 36 Feet in Width and Full Depth Paved Shoulders, 24-FOOT Collector Distributor Roadways, Accel/Decel Lanes, Ramps and Sideroads, Upgrade to the 17TH Street Partial Interchange. Roadway and Structure Improvements Are Included on 13TH Street (Sr 3011) Including Replacement of a Three-Span Bridge with a Two-Span Bridge, and 17TH Street Including Replacement of Two Single- Span Bridges with Two Single-Span Bridges, and at Paxton Street Including Replacement of a Multi-Span Bridge with a Single-Span Bridge. Also Included Are: Embankment Benching and Sliver Fills, Two Proposed Retaining Walls, One Proposed Moment Slab with Toe Wall, Six Proposed Overhead Sign Structures, Guiderail, Drainage, Pollinator Garden, Highway Lighting, Pavement Markings, and Other Miscellaneous Construction, All Contained Within an Overall Project Length of 10,210 Linear Feet (1.934 Miles) as Indicated on the Approved Drawings Included in the Bid Package for State Route 0083, Section B79, in Dauphin County, City of Harrisburg, Swatara Township, from a Point Approximately 1,000 Feet West of the Cameron Street Underpass at Segment 0424/0425 Offset 0724/0724 to the 29TH Street Overpass at Segment 0444/0445 Offset 1432/1406.
