Purpose: Construct Taxiway; Construct Deicing Pad with Associated Facilities; Reconstruct Apron. Activities to Be Performed/Expected Outcomes: This Project Constructs a 108,656 Square Yard Aircraft Deicing Pad. This Project Constructs a New 6,400 Foot End Around Taxiway at the Runway 18C End to Reduce the Delay of Existing Traffic. This Project Constructs a New 7,500 Foot Taxiway J to Accommodate More Aircraft Operations. This Project Reconstructs 14,905 Square Yards of the Existing Terminal Apron Pavement That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life. This Grant Funds Phase 2, Which Consists of Reconstruction of 6,045 Square Yards. This Grant Funds Phase 3, Which Consists of Construction of 43,176 Square Yards. This Grant Funds Phase 7, Which Consists of Grading and Drainage, Lighting and Signage, Old Dowd Road Relocation, and Airport Overlook Construction. Intended Beneficiary: This Grant Will Provide Federal Funding for Airports Associated with Charlotte, North Carolina.
