Umos Farm and Food Worker Relief Program for Agriculture Meatpacking Workers (Ffwr Ag) Will Providefinancial Support to Essential Workers to Offset Covid Related Health and Safety Costs. One Time Payments of 600PER Worker Will Be Issued to Eligible Beneficiaries, Via Check or Debit Card, to Defray Costs for Reasonable Andnecessary Personal, Family, and or Living Expenses, Including for Those Associated with Purchasing Personalprotective Equipment (Ppe), Expenses Incurred Related to Testing, Quarantine, Vaccination, Childcare, Etc. Umos Ffwr Ag Will Cover 13 States Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri,minnesota, Nebraska, Texas and Wisconsin. Umos Will Deliver Services Directly in IL, Ok, MN, MO, TX, and WI Incollaboration with Several Partners. Five Subrecipient Partners Will Deliver Services Directly in the Other 7 States(coffo in FL Ahdc in AR Rmser in CO Harvest America in KS and Proteus in IA, in, and Ne). These Partnerswere Selected Because They Have Extensive and Successful Experience Serving the Target Population.umos and Its Partners Will Outreach to Agriculture Meatpacking Workers and Their Employers, Accept Andprocess Applications, Collect Verification, Determine Eligibility, and Issue Payments While Maintaining Strong Financialcontrols Which Ensure Funds Get Into the Hands of Eligible Beneficiaries. Umos and Contracted Partner Lulac Willimplement a Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Communications Strategy and Outreach Campaign to Reachthousands of Potentially Eligible Workers. Umos Intends to Issue Payments to 81,337 Beneficiaries Under This Multi State Project.
