Application Purpose: The Purpose of This Project Is to Fund the Purchase of 35 Electric Busses to Implement the Associated Infrastructure and Equipment Required to Charge the Buses and Provide Workforce Development.; Activities Performed: Bus Procurement Equipment Procurement and Installation Infrastructure Designs and Construction Workforce Development; Expected Outcomes: This Project Fully Supports the Low-No Program Statutory Requirements of Reducing Energy Consumption Reducing Harmful Emissions and Reducing Direct Carbon Emissions. Furthermore IT Improves Transportation Options for Americans and Reduces Greenhouse Emissions Pursuant to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.; Intended Beneficiaries: University of Maryland Commuters and Employees All Road Users in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area; Subrecipient Activities: None
