Description

The Public Purpose of the Title Xvi Water Reclamation and Reuse Program and Largescale Water Recycling Program Projects Are to Improve Water Efficiency, Provide Flexibility During Water Shortages, and Diversify the Water Supply by Developing and Supplementing Urban and Irrigation Water Supplies Through Water Reuse. Largescale Water Recycling Projects Will Play an Important Role in Helping Communities Develop Local, Drought Resistant Sources of Water Supply by Turning Currently Unusable Water Sources Into a New Source of Water Supply That Is Less Vulnerable to Drought and Climate Change.metropolitan, in Partnership with the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts Sanitation Districts Which Will Be a Subrecipient, Plans to Implement a New, Droughtresilient Water Supply with the Development of the Pure Water Southern California Pwsc Program. This Pwsc Program Will Beneficially Reuse Wastewater from Sanitation Districts That Is Currently Discharged to the Pacific Ocean. Drought Conditions in the Region Have Led to Severe Reductions in Colorado River Runoff and Unprecedented Low Imports from State Water Project. The Pwsc Program Is Expected to Provide a Droughtresilient Water Supply to 19 Million People, Which Includes Six Million People Living Within Disadvantaged Communities and Multiple Tribal Communities.the Overall Pwsc Program Includes the Planning, Design and Construction of Facility Improvements, Advanced Water Purification Facility Awpf at the Sanitation Districts A.k. Warren Water Resource Facility Warren Facility or Wwrf in Carson, CA an Approximately 40MILE Backbone Conveyance Pipeline to Convey the Purified Water and Connections to Partner Systems or Recharge Facilities in Three Regional Groundwater Basins. The Awpf Includes Membrane Bioreactors MBR Processes and Advanced Water Treatment Awt. The Backbone Conveyance Pipeline Is Divided Into Eight Reaches, with All Reaches at 84INCHES Diameter, with the Potential to Upsize a Portion of the Conveyance System to 108INCHES Diameter to Accommodate Potential Future Integration with Other Regional Programs. The Pwsc Program Phase 1 Supplies Up to 115 MGD of Indirect Potable Reuse Ipr Water. Sustainable, Local Water Supplies Are Crucial for the Reliability of Water Supply to the Regions 19 Million Residents, for Reducing the Stress on Local Groundwater Supplies by Recharging the Local Groundwater Basins, for Increasing Water Storage, and Providing Operational Flexibility.

Why the labels? The graph is only worth anything if the links are trusted. Facts taken straight from a federal filing are ✓ from source; anything we compute or infer (corporate parents, districts, competitors) is ≈ inferred and worded carefully, never asserted as fact.
