Description

The Project Aligns with the Selection Criteria by Improving System and Service Performance and Improving Integration with Other Modes as IT Will Allow Intercity and Commuter Passenger Trains (Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express) to Fluidly Cross Over Two CSX Transportation, Inc.?s Mainline Freight Rail Tracks and Avoid At-Grade Conflicts and Delays, Resulting in the Improved Reliability and Efficiency of Rail Services. The Existing Volume on the Corridor, Approximately 50-70 Trains Per Day, Consistently Leads to Train Interference. The Project Will Increase the Number of Tracks from Two to Three Tracks After Completion, Improving Reliability and Efficiency for All Railroad Owners, Operators, and Funding Partners.

Why the labels? The graph is only worth anything if the links are trusted. Facts taken straight from a federal filing are Source; figures we calculate are Computed; links we infer (corporate parents, districts, similar contractors, connections between records) are Inferred, worded carefully, never asserted as fact and never a claim that one thing caused another.
