NJ Transit Is Requesting Federal Assistance in the Amount of $125909000 of FY2022 Section 5337 State of Good Repair. These Funds Will Support NJ Transits Rail Preventive Maintenance Program Activities as Defined in the National Transit Database Reporting Manual. This Program Is Ongoing. Trust Funds ($125909000) Will Be Used in This Grant. Funds Will Be Matched with Credit from Toll Revenue Expenditures (Transportation Development Credits) in the Amount of $25181800 as Permitted Under 23 Usc 120(I) Credit for Non-Federal Share. Purpose:the Purpose of Preventive Maintenance Activities Includes Repair Maintenance and Servicing of Revenue and Non-Revenue Fleets as Well as Facilities to Ensure Reliable Performance and Maximization of Asset Useful Life.
