Expected Outcomes: The Expected Outcomes of These Initiatives Include: Payments Toward the Capital Lease on the Northeast Corridor; Improvements to Hoboken Track Bridge and Capacity; Improvements to Hoboken Traction Power Up to Two New Mechanical Equipment Inspection Pits; Operating Assistance for Cumberland County; the Reconstruction of Lyndhurst Station; Upgrades to the Newark Penn Station Escalators and Elevators; Upgrades to the Perth Amboy Station Relating to Ada Improvements; and Improvements to West Summit Interlocking.intended Beneficiaries: Residents of New Jersey and the General Public Utilizing the NJ Transit Public Transportation System Throughout New Jersey New York City Philadelphia and Surrounding States and Metropolitan Areas.subrecipient Activities: Cumberland County Office on Aging and Disablednj Transit Certifies That IT Will Not Expend 1% of the Apportionment on Security. NJ Transit Utilizes Local Transportation Trust Funds (Ttf) to Cover Security Projects. NJ Transits Budget for 5307 Funds Is $258372000 in This Award. Fta Requires at Least 0.75% or $1937790 Be Spent on Safety Related Projects. NJ Transit Has Identified Lyndhurst Station Reconstruction with a Budget of $11132000 in This Award to Satisfy This Requirement.
