Michigan State Opioid Response 3 - the Purpose of the Michigan State Opioid Response 3 Project Is to Increase Access to Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (Moud) Using the Three FDA Approved Medications, Reduce Unmet Treatment Needs, Reduce Overdose Related Deaths Through the Provision of Prevention, Treatment, Harm Reduction, and Recovery Activities for Opioid Use Disorder (Oud) and Stimulant Use Disorders (Stud), and Improve Quality of Treatment for Stud and Oud. Michigan Aims to Accomplish the Purpose of the Project with the Following Objectives: 1) Improving the State Infrastructure for Individuals with an Oud and Stud; 2) Training Pihp and Provider Administration on Infrastructure Improvements, Training Provider Staff on Evidence Based Interventions and Fidelity Measures, and Increasing Educational Opportunities for Certified Peers; 3) Implementing Evidence Based Prevention and Treatment Interventions with Accompanying Fidelity Instruments to Ensure That the Quality of the Intervention Is Consistent Across the Provider Network; 4) Expanding Overdose Education and Harm Reduction Services Including Naloxone Distribution; 5) Increasing Supportive Peer Services to Probationers and Parolees; 6) Supporting the Use of Peers in Medical and Community Settings; 7) Expanding Recovery Friendly Communities That Include Housing and Employment Support; 8) Improving Access for Racial and Ethnic Minorities; and 9) Disseminating Educational Messaging Regarding Anti-Stigma, Oud, and Stud.
