Integrated Hiv Programs for Health Departments to Support Ending the Hiv Epidemic in the United States - the New Jersey Department of Health (Njdoh), Division of Hiv, Std, and TB Services (Dhsts) Is Requesting Applied Funding in Response to the CDC-RFA-PS24-0047 for High-Impact Hiv Prevention and Surveillance Programs for Health Departments. Dhsts Is Requesting the Maximum Amount Allowed as Per the Funding Tables on the Nofo Website, for Budget Period 1 (10 Months) from August 1, 2024 Through May 31, 2025. This Funding Will Allow Dhsts to Continue Services and Implement High-Impact Hiv Prevention and Surveillance Programs. We Plan to Build and Improve Upon Our Current Hiv Prevention and Surveillance Programs by Identifying and Implementing Activities Within the Jurisdiction, Based on Need and Resources, to Reach Goals for Each Strategy. Our Priorities Will Be to Increase Knowledge of Hiv Status, Reduce Hiv Transmission, Prevent New Hiv Infections, Improve Linkage to Care and Viral Suppression and Maintain Elimination of Perinatal Transmission. With the Integration of Core Prevention, Surveillance, and Ending the Hiv Epidemic (Ehe) Funding Resources, IT Will Allow Our Jurisdiction to Align Resources to Better Match the Geographic Burden of Hiv Infections Within Our Jurisdiction and Maximize the Impact of Federal Hiv Prevention Funding. This Grant Replaces or Previous PS18-1802 and PS20-2010 Funding Streams.
