Description

This Application Is to Request Arp Act Funds for the Milwaukee County Transit System (Milwaukee Uza) in the Amount of $63627910. These Funds Do Not Require a Local Match. The Funds Will Be Used to Assist with Operating Expenses Beginning in 2022 and Are Expected to Be Exhausted by the End of December 2027 (or Sooner). Operating Expenses Would Include Items Such as Wages and Salaries Fuel Maintenance Bus Repair Parts Etc.purpose: Milwaukee County 2022 Arpa Grant in the Amount of $63627910 (Sewrpc Allocation Letter Attached). These Funds Will Be Used to Assist with Milwaukee County Transit System (Mcts) Operating Expenses.activities to Be Performed: Operating Expenses May Include Wages and Salaries Fuel Bus Repair Parts Maintenance Etc. Incurred After January 1 2022. This Amount ($63627910) Represents 76% of Milwaukee Countys Total Allocation of $83627910. The Remaining Balance After the Award of This Grant Is $20000000.EXPECTED Outcomes: Continued Operation of All Milwaukee County Transit System Scheduled Routes.intended Beneficiaries: All Current and Future Users of the Milwaukee County Transit System.subrecipient Activities: N/A Milwaukee County Crrsaa 5307 Grant (WI-2021-049-00; January 1 2021 - December 31 2026) Overlaps with This Grant (Arpa 5307 January 1 2022 - December 31 2027). The Crrsaa Funds May Not Be Sufficient to Cover All Eligible Expenses Though This Is Unknown at the Time of This Grant Application. Milwaukee County Will Only Draw as Many Grant Funds as Are Needed to Meet Eligible Expenses and Will Not Draw Funds from Both Crrsaa and Arpa to Cover the Same Expenses.milwaukee County Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.
