This Grant Includes $79560472 in Fy 2021 Arpa Section 5307 Formula Funding Representing 100% of the Amount Sub-Allocated to Washington State Ferries from the Seattle Uza. The Sub-Allocation Letter Dated 09/23/2021 Is Attached in Trams. These Funds Will Be Used for Eligible Operating Activities to Help Prevent Respond to and Recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Federal Share Is 100%.SPECIFIC Award Purpose:this Award Will Be Used for Eligible Operating Activities to Help Prevent Respond to and Recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. Activities to Be Performed:these Funds Will Be Used for Existing Eligible Operating Activities on Ferry Routes Operated by Washington State Ferries to Help Prevent Respond to and Recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. This Operating Assistance Supplements Assistance Provided Under WA-2020-037-01-00 - Cares Act - Fy 2020 Sec 5307 and WA-2021-056-00 Crrsaa - Fy 2021 Section 5307 Formula Funding Operating Assistance for Washington State Ferries Where Available Funding May Be Insufficient to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Within Overlapping Time Periods. Expected Outcomes:this Funding Will Help the Recipient Respond to and Recover from the Effects of COVID-19 Pandemic.intended Beneficiaries:ferry Customers Who Utilize WSF Ferry Service Throughout the WSF System.subrecipient Activity:n/Athe Recipient Certifies That IT and Its Sub-Recipients and Contractors That Are Providers of Public Transportation Have Not Furloughed Any Employees Since March 11 2021 (the Enactment Date of the Arp Act).washington State Ferries Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.
