Description
Purpose: This Is a Ffy 2021 Section 5307 Arp Act Grant in the Amount of $167777447 (Utas Full Apportionment). Per the Arpa the Grant Requests 100% Federal Share. This Grant Utilizes Arpa Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to COVID-19. Activities to Be Performed: The Grant Scope of Work Includes Operating Expenses Including Fuel Staff Time and Contracted Paratransit Providers.pre-Award Activity for Eligible Activities Is Permitted Per the Arpa for Costs Incurred After January 20 2020. The Costs from the Activities Listed Above Meet This Requirement. Operating Expenses Incurred from 06/01/2021 Through the Date This Agreement Is Awarded and Executed Will Be Drawn Under This Pre-Award Authority. Note That Only a Small Portion of the June 2021 Expenses Will Be Used as Most of Them Were Included in Utas Crrsaa Grant Application; and That Any Ineligible or Already Reimbursed Expenses Have Also Not Been Included in the Funds That Will Use This Grant (See Attached Operating Expenses Workbook).the Arp Act Apportionment for the Three Urbanized (Uzas) in Utas Service Area Totals $167777447 in the Following AMOUNTS:$108443995 for Salt Lake-West Valley (Uza #490520)$38143636 for Ogden-Layton (Uza #499560)$21189816 for Provo-Orem (Uza #491750)EXPECTED Outcomes: Funding of Operations to Continue and Grow Transit Services Through COVID-19 Recovery.intended Beneficiaries: Populations Uta Serves in and Related to the Above Listed Urbanized Areas.subrecipient Activities: No Subrecipients Are Involved. No Split Letters Are Needed as Uta Is the Sole Recipient of Funds in These Areasother: This Is the Only Grant That Will Be Used for the Arpa Funds to Be Used in Only One Project.the Recipient Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.the Project in This Grant Does Not Lead to Any Functional Location or Capacity Changes; So Per the Arp Act Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-Range Transportation Plan Transportation Improvement Program or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
