Application Purpose: This Application Is for Available Urbanized Area Formula (Section 5307) Funds Apportioned for the Austin Urbanized Area in Fiscal Year 2025.; Activities Performed: The Funds Will Be Used for:- Complementary Ada Paratransit - Eligible Preventive Maintenance Activities Related to Vehicles Equipment and Facilities.- New 40-FT Buses to Replace Buses Used in Fixed-Route Service That Have Exceeded Their Minimum Useful Life.; Expected Outcomes: Complementary Ada Paratransit - to Provide Transportation Service That Is Comparable to the Fixed Route Service for Individuals with Disabilities as Required by the Americans with Disabilities Act Preventive Maintenance - to Preserve or Extend the Functionality and Serviceability of the Capmetro Vehicles Equipment and Facilities Cost-Effectively.replacement Buses - to Replace Diesel Buses That Have Exceeded Their Minimum Useful Life in Age and Mileage. The Replacement Buses Will Be Hybrid Diesel Battery-Electric Buses. These Low-Emission Buses Provide Cleaner Air and a Quieter Ride (Both Inside and Outside).; Intended Beneficiaries: The Intended Beneficiaries of This Project Are Central Texans. These Activities Support Strategic Priorities and Objectives. For Customers They Help Provide a Convenient Desirable and Accessible Option for Mobility in the Region and Its Various Communities.
