This Application Is to Request FY2020 Section 5307 Funds Apportioned to the Houston Uza Sub Allocated to Houston Metro in the Amount of $75400936. Local Match of $18850235 Will Be Provided by Metros 1% Sales Tax. See Attached Split Letter for Sub Allocation. Purpose: The Purpose of This Award Is to Fund Bus and Rail Capitalized Maintenance and Ada Paratransit Support.activities to Be Performed: Funds Will Provide Bus and Rail Capitalized Preventive Maintenance and Ada Paratransit. Metro Has Confirmed That the Houston Uza as a Whole Will Remain Under the 10% Ada Cap. Expected Outcomes: These Funds Will Ensure That Metro Is Maintaining Bus and Rail Activities in a State of Good Repair and Providing Ada Compliant Paratransit Service to the Houston Uza.intended Beneficiaries: Metros Maintenance of Bus and Rail Activities Will Benefit the Houston Uza and Greater Houston Area.subrecipient Activities: N/Apre-Award Authority: Metro Will Use Pre-Award Authority for Bus and Rail Preventative Maintenance from July 2021 Through July 2022. See File Pre-Award Authority Estimate.the Ada Assistance/Paratransit Budget Item Is 10% of the Total Houston Uza 5307 Apportionment. Hmetro Affirms That Other Recipients in the Uza Will Not Use Paratransit Assistance. 1% Security Requirement: Metro Has a Full Time Police and Security Workforce Which Is Funded with Local Dollars Every Fiscal Year for an Amount That Far Exceeds the 1% Requirement. AS Complete in Prior Apportionment Years Metro Will Exercise the Use of Metros Police and Security Expenses to Satisfy This REQUIREMENT.0.75% Safety Requirement: Metro Has a Full Time Safety Workforce Which Is Funded with Local Dollars Every Fiscal Year for an Amount That Far Exceeds the 0.75%% Requirement.
