Purpose: This Is an FFY2021 Section 5307 Arp Act Application in the Amount of $93279602 for the Central Ohio Transit Authority (Cota). Activities to Be Performed: These Funds Will Be Used for Operating Assistance at a 100% Federal Share.expected Outcomes: This Grant Award Will Fund the Continued Movement of Critical Public Transit Operations in Our Region. Cota Provides Essential Transportation Services to Ensure That Those Who Need Transportation Can Get to Work Medical Appointments Educational Opportunities and Other Critical and Essential Daily Life Activities. This Funding Will Allow Cota to Get Through the Immediate Impact of the National COVID-19 Pandemic as Well as Provide Assistance to Help with the Long-Term Economic Downturn That We Expect.intended Beneficiaries: This Benefits the Central Ohio Community by Allowing Cota to Continue Our Essential Work in Providing Transportation to Those Who Need IT Most.subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipients of This Award.attached Is the Apportionment Split Letter for the Columbus Uza. Of a Total $99443340 Funding Cotas Share Is $93279602.THE Recipient Agrees That If IT Receives Federal Funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-Through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement IT Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by FEMA Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company. Per the Arp Act the Project in This Application Is Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-Range Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program as IT Does Not Lead to a Functional Location or Capacity Changethis Grant Has an Overlapping Milestone from Our Cares Act Grant OH-2020-027-00 and Crssaa Grant -OH-2021-021-00 and Previous Funding Was Insufficient to Cover Our Costs. Cota Has Documentation of Previous Reimbursement Costs from the Cares Act and Crrsaa Award and Will Ensure That Expenses Are Not Duplicated nor Result in a Second Reimbursement for the Same Expense for This Current Arp Award.
