Application Purpose: This Award Is Intended to Cover the Anticipated Cost to Design and Convert the Subject Warehouse Building Into a Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility.; Activities Performed: The Activities to Be Undertaken with the Awarded Funds Is Professional Services. This Project Will Involve Concept Development Design and Conversion of Existing Warehouse Building Along with the Inclusion of Training for Current and Future Staff.; Expected Outcomes: NJ Transits Buses Operating Out of the Facility Will Be Protected from the Elements and Will Be Maintained Using the Latest Equipment. The Facility Will Comply with All Current Regulations and Provide an Efficient and Modern Work Environment for NJ Transit Employees.; Intended Beneficiaries: Users of NJ Transits Bus System Current and Future Workforce and Newark NJ Residents Will Receive Benefits from This Project. ; Subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipients.
