Application Purpose: This Application Is to Request All Stations Accessibility Funding to Support Green Line B/C Branch Accessibility Apportioned to the Mbta in the Amount of $67609672 with $16902425 in Local Match from Mbta Funds for a Total of $84512097. The Projects Are on the 2025-2029 Stip Under Stations and Facilities Programs.; Activities Performed: The Short Term Accessibility Improvements Project Aims to Create Accessible Station Platforms for Stations Along B and C Branch. The Project Will Ensure Compliance with Fta (Circular 4710.1 Section 4.3.5) Ada (49 CFR 38.73) Nfpa Maab and Mbta Regulations. Overall the Project Modernizes Infrastructure to Create a Safer More Reliable and Inclusive Transit System. The Project Is Essential to Maintaining Regulatory Compliance Advancing Mbta Priorities and Ensuring Safe and Accessible Service for All Passengers. This Project Is Required Before Type 10 Cars Start Operating on the B and C Branches.b-Branch: Chestnut Hill Chiswick Road Packards Corner South Street and Sutherland Roadthe Project Scope Focuses on Enhancing Accessibility and Operational Efficiency Along the B-Branch. IT Includes Addressing 5 Currently Inaccessible Stations to Meet Ada Standards. Lastly Barriers to Accessibility at Multiple Grade Crossings Will Be Addressed Ensuring Safer and More Convenient Use for Passengers. Expected Deliverables Include Finalized Design Plans and Completed Station Upgrades. C Branch Stations: Hawes Street Station Kent Street Station Saint Paul Street Station Summit Avenue Station Brandon Hall Station Fairbanks Street Station Tappan Street Station Dean Road Station Englewood Avenue Stationthe Project Scope Focuses on Enhancing Accessibility and Operational Efficiency Along the C-Branch. IT Includes Addressing All 9 Currently Inaccessible Stations to Meet Ada Standards.; Expected Outcomes: This Project Aligns with Several Key Goals and Values Outlined in the Mbtas Strategic Plan. IT Improves Safety by Upgrading Inaccessible Stations and Addressing Barriers at Grade Crossings and Enhances Service Through Station and Track Realignments. The Project Ensures Accessible Transit for All Users and IT Reflects a Commitment to Continuous Improvement Within the Mbta. Overall the Project Modernizes Infrastructure to Create a Safer More Reliable and Inclusive Transit System.; Intended Beneficiaries: All Riders of the B and C Lines But Those with Disabilities Will Particularly Benefit.; Subrecipient Activities: N/A
