Description

Application Purpose: This Is a Ffy 2021 Section 5307 Arp Additional Assistance Competitive Grant Awarded Indygo in the Amount of $51029180 at 100% Federal Share. This Funding Is for Additional Assistance to Offset the Operating Budget Deficit Directly Due to the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Fare Revenue and Other Non-Federal Revenue Sources.; Activities Performed: This Applications Scope of Work Includes Extending Support for Activities Previously Funded by the Stimulus Awards Cares Act (IN-2020-019) Crrsaa (IN-2021-009) and Arpa (IN-2022-004) for Operational Assistance Such as Salaries Para Transit Service Fuel Ppe and Cleaning Services. Indygo Will Be Utilizing the Same Operation Tracking as the Prior Stimulus Awards. Indygo Has Identified Pre-Award Authority Expenses in the Approximate Amount of $11029527 That Were Incurred from 08/1/2022 to 11/30/2022.; Expected Outcomes: These Funds Will Support System-Wide Prevention Preparation and Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic Through FFY25. Indygo Anticipates an Ongoing Budget Deficit Due to Continued COVID-19 Related Decline in Fare Revenues and Non-Federal Revenue Sources. These Funds Will Provide Stability to the Operational Budget Through Fy 2027 Allowing Indygo to Keep Providing Reliable Transit Services.; Intended Beneficiaries: Utilizing This Funding for Operating Assistance Will Benefit All Transit Riders in the Indianapolis Urbanized Area.; Subrecipient Activities: N/A
