Application Purpose: This Is a Ffy 2020 Section 5307 Application in the Amount of $75537697 (100% Federal Share) This Application Utilizes Cares Act Funding to Help Respond to and Recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Application Is for Operating Assistance; Preventive Maintenance; Ada Paratransit Operating Expenses and Capital Items.; Activities Performed: Cares Act Funds Will Support Lynx in General Operating Expenses Normally Eligible Under Section 5307 and 5311 Program and Capital Expenses to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to COVID-19 on or After January 20 2020; Expected Outcomes: Lynx Under Operating Activities Will Charge All Operating Expenses for the Agency (Net Fare Revenues) That Occur on or After January 20 2020. IN General Operating Expenses Are Those Costs Necessary to Operate Maintain and Manage a Public Transportation System. Operating Expenses Usually Includesuch Costs as: Salaries Wages Including Administrative Leave Such as Leave for Employees Due to Reduction in Service or Leave Required for a Quarantined Worker; Fringe Benefits; Services Provided by Outside Agencies; Fuel; Materials Supplies Including Personal Protective Equipment and Cleaning Supplies; Utilities; Casualty Liability Insurance; Purchase Transportation Service Which Includes Paratransit Neighbor Link; Miscellaneous Expenses; Interest Expenses; Leases and Any Item Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year Deemed Necessary to Run the Lynx Transportation System.; Intended Beneficiaries: Lynx Passangers; Subrecipient Activities: N/A
