Application Purpose: To Purchase Approximately 20 New Low Floor Light Rail Vehicles; Replacing 20 High Floor Light Rail Vehicles That Have Reached the End of Their Useful Life.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Cover Cost of Manufacturing New Light Rail Vehicles Spare Parts Special Tools Force Account Labor and Third Party Contract for Miscellaneous Equipment.; Expected Outcomes: Replacement of the Light Rail Vehicles Will Improve Boarding Alighting Accessibility Improve Operational Safety System Efficiency and Improve Passenger Experience.; Intended Beneficiaries: Sacramento Area Transit Commuters Including the Elderly Disabled Riders with Bikes Strollers And/OR Luggage and Employees.; Subrecipient Activities: None
