Application Purpose: This Grant Requests Fta Section 5337 Funds to Implement Multiple Projects That Address Specific Needs Identified in the Metropolitan Transportation Commissions Fy 2024-25 Transit Capital Priorities (Tcp) Program.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Improve Light Rail Signals Enhance Safety at Grade Crossings Replace Fiber Optics Upgrade Obsolete Ticket Vending Machines and Enhance Efforts to Prevent or Reduce Trackway Intrusions.; Expected Outcomes: This Grant Will Help Vta Maintain Various Fixed Guideway Assets in a State of Good Repair.; Intended Beneficiaries: Vta and the Riders Who Rely on Its Transit Service Will Benefit from Continued Services Permitting Santa Clara County Residents to Access Employment Centers Schools and Other Destinations.; Subrecipient Activities: None
