Description:this Agreement Provides Funding for the Operation of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's, Njdep's, Continuing Environmental Programs While Giving IT Greater Flexibility to Address Its Highest Environmental Priorities, Improve Environmental Performance, Achieve Administrative Savings and Strengthen the Partnership Between Njdep and Epa. Subrecipient Activities Includes Restoring Water Bodies Impaired by Nonpoint Source Pollution and Reducing Air Pollution Impacts. This Agreement Funds Statewide Programs to: Protect and Improve Air Quality; Water Quality and Drinking Water; Beach Quality; Control Pesticides; Reduce Radon Exposures; and Control Hazardous Wastes. The Work Includes Outputs and Outcomes Associated with Managing Continuing Environmental Programs Which Include Activities to Protect and Maintain Air, Water, Land and Data Quality; and Chemical Safety. Direct Beneficiaries of This Program Are the Citizens of the State of New Jersey. Activities:this Agreement Funds the Following Programs Activities: Operating and Maintaining State's Ambient Air Monitoring Network; Developing State Implementation Plan; Issuing PSD/NSR Permits; Implementing Air Toxics Monitoring Program; Implementation of I/M Program; Conducting Radon Outreach, Mitigation and Testing; Implementing the Drinking Water Program Including Lead and Copper Rule, Unregulated Monitoring Rule, and Lead Ban Provisions; Developing and Monitoring Tmdls; Issuing Npdes Permits; Implementing Enhancements to the State's Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Programs; Assessing Nearshore Costal Recreational Water Quality and Responding to Pollution Incidents in Coastal Waters; Approving Rcra Corrective Action Facilities; Issuing Operating Rcra Permits, Implementing Closure/Post-Closure Rcra Facilities; Conducting Inspections of Hazardous Waste Tsdf Facilities; Conducting Pesticides Applicator Certification, and Providing Worker Protection Training/Education.subrecipient:this Agreement Includes Subaward Activities Related to Nonpoint Source Restoration; Subawards to Municipalities, Counties, Schools, and Non-Profit Weatherization Organizations to Purchase Radon Test Devices; County Environmental Health Act (Ceha) Subawards to Counties for Public Water System Inspections; and Beach Monitoring.outcomes:this Agreement Will Reduce Harmful Effects of Air Pollutions; Achieve Healthier Indoor Air Quality; Protect and Improve the Quality of Groundwater, Surface Water, Beaches, and Drinking Water; Clean Up Hazardous Waste Releases; Reduced Pesticides Exposures; and Enforcement of the Air, Water, Rcra and Pesticides Programs. This Agreement Will Result in Enhanced Protection of Human Health and the Environment and Will Benefit the Citizens of the State of New Jersey. The Deliverables Will Include Submissions of the Following Reports: Sip Revisions; Ambient and Toxics Air Monitoring; Stack Testing; Testing Home/School/Businesses for Radon; Drinking Water Violations; Uic Reports; Nutrient Criteria Enhancement Plan and Long Term Strategy Annual Progress Report; Integrated Water Quality Monitoring; Tmdls to Address 303(D) Lists; Npdes Permit Issuance; Nonpoint Source Success Stories; Rcra Permits Issuance; Fifra Cooperative Agreement Workplan; Provide Beach Monitoring and Notification, and Reporting Enforcement Actions Into Icis-Air, Njems; Sdwis and Rcrainfo. Direct Beneficiaries of This Program Are the Citizens of the State of New Jersey.
