Description:this Agreement Provides Funding Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Iija) to the Lion Electric Co. USA, Inc. This Agreement Is to Replace Existing School Buses with Clean and Zero Emission (Ze) School Buses.activities:the Activities Include Replacing Ninety-Seven (97) Existing Diesel Emission with Ninety-Seven (97) Clean, Zero Emission School Buses and Acquiring Three (3) Level 2 Ac (Alternating Current) Dual and Ninety-Two (92) Level 3 DC (Direct Current) Fast Charging Infrastructure. The New School Buses Will Serve the Following School Districts in Texas and Louisiana: Muenster Independent School District (TX), Lovelady Independent School District (TX), Bay City Independent School District (TX), Morehouse Parish Schools (LA) and East Baton Rouge Parish Schools (La). Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include: Lion Electric CO USA, Inc Will Support Five School Districts in This Project, Muenster Independent School District (TX), Lovelady Independent School District (TX), Bay City Independent School District (TX), Morehouse Parish Schools (LA) and East Baton Rouge Parish Schools (LA) by Replacing 97 Diesel School Buses with Clean, Zero-Emissions School Buses and Acquiring Three (3) Level 2 Ac (Alternating Current) Dual and Ninety-Two (92) Level 3 DC (Direct Current) Fast Charging Infrastructure. The Expected Outcomes Include Deployment of New Electric School Buses, Workforce Development, Promotion of These Vehicles in the Community and Economical Benefits of Owning and Operating Electric School Buses. Outcomes Also Include Tons of Harmful Pollutant Reductions, Increase in Zero-Emission Knowledge and Vehicle Adoption Across the State, Rise in Total Number of Stakeholders That Can Operate and Maintain Electric Vehicle (Ev) Buses, and Decrease in District Funds Spent on Internal Combustion Fueled Engine Buses. The Intended Beneficiaries Include School Superintendents, School Boards, Teachers, District Staff (Administrative, Support, Transportation Team), Labor Unions, Students, Parents, Caretakers, Community Members, Including Those Who Live Along Bus Routes, First Responders, and Utilities.
