Application Purpose: The Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Funds to Reimburse Nebraskas Rural Areas for Allowable Operating Non-Operating and Vehicle Maintenance Expenses. The Rural Transit Systems Provide Public Transportation Services That Is Available to All Persons Within the Service Area in Rural Nebraska.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Reimburse Nebraskas Rural Subrecipients for Allowable Operating Assistance Which Includes Salaries/Employer Costs for Drivers and Dispatchers Vehicle Fuel and Oil; Allowable Non-Operating Assistance Which Includes Salaries/Employer Costs for Administrative Staff Marketing Rent Utilities Office Supplies and Other Administrative Costs; and Vehicle Maintenance.; Expected Outcomes: To Enhance the Access of People in Rural Areas to Health Care Shopping Education Employment Public Services and Recreation. To Assist in the Maintenance Development Improvement and Use of Public Transportation Systems in Rural Areas of Nebraska.; Intended Beneficiaries: 53 Rural Subrecipients in Nebraska.
