Application Purpose: The Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Funding to Support the Ridesharing Program Metro Fleet Replacement Light Rail Overhaul and Procurement of Replacement Buses.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Purchase 77 Replacement Buses 3 Metro Replacement Cars Annual Commuter Assistance Rideshare Program for Maryland and Light Rail Vehicle Overhaul Program.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Mta to Keep Rolling Stock Vehicles in a State of Good Repair and to Promote Alternatives to Single Occupancy Driving.; Intended Beneficiaries: Mta and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit from Continued Services Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Other Destinations.; Subrecipient Activities: The Following Subrecipients Will Receive Commuter Assistance: Montgomery County Prince Georges County Calvert County Tri-County Council Southern MD Frederick County Harford County Anne Arundel County Baltimore City Baltimore Metropolitan Council and Howard County
