Application Purpose: The Funding in This Grant Will Be Used to Construct Two Key Transit Centers Tukwila International Boulevard Station (Tibs) and South Renton Transit Center (Srtc) on the New Stride Bus Rapid Transit (Brt) Line on I-405 South and SR 518 in King County Washington.; Activities Performed: For Tukwila International Boulevard Station Project Costs Include Construction of the Two IN-Line BRT Platforms New Pedestrian Bridges and Bus-Only Lanes on SR 518. For South Renton Transit Center Project Costs Include Construction of a New Transit Center Transit Signal Prioritization Bus-Only Lanes Sidewalks Crosswalks Benches Lighting Signage and Bike Parking.; Expected Outcomes: The Funding in This Grant Will Allow Sound Transit to Complete the Tukwila International Boulevard Station and South Renton Transit Center Along the Stride 1 Line BRT Project.; Intended Beneficiaries: The General Public Within the Sound Transit Service Area and Local Area Ridership.; Subrecipient Activities: Not Applicable.
