Founded in 1990, the Hispanic Federation (Hf) Works to Empower and Advance the Latino Community Andits Institutions Through Programs, Advocacy, Grantmaking, and Capacity Building. HF Will Provide Financialassistance to Frontline Workers Who Were Hired to Provide Farming and or Meatpacking Work at Any Pointduring the Covid 19 Pandemic Period Beginning January 2020. Hispanic Federation Will Serve as the Leadapplicant and Has Established Subaward Partnerships with 39 Trusted Cbos from 19 States, Puerto Ricoand the U.S. Virgin Islands. HF and Its Partnering Cbos Will Conduct an Estimated 5,600 Outreach Activitiesto Inform Eligible Beneficiaries of the Availability of the Financial Assistance. Outreach Activities Will Beconducted in English or Spanish Depending on the Population. Activities Will Consist of Outreach to Cboconstituencies, Street Outreach, Community Based Informational Meetings, Local and National Media, Andsocial Media. To Facilitate Outreach Efforts, HF Will Develop a Rangeof Culturally and Linguisticallycompetent Print, Digital and Audio Material in English and Spanish. An Estimated 4,000,000 Individualswill Be Reached Through the Outreach Activities. The Project Will Distribute Financial Payments Consistingof a One Time 600 Cash Card to an Estimated 51,675 Farmworkers and 17,225 Meatpacking Workers.
