Description
Design, Construct, and Operate a Closed Loop Salt Slag Recycling Unit on the Back End of Real Alloy’s Existing Aluminum Recycling Milling Facility in Wabash, Indiana. Divert Approximately 70% of Salt Slag Waste Generated at the Wabash Facility from Landfill to Recycling Processes That Produce Marketable or Useable Products (I.e., Marketable Flux, Aluminum Oxide, Ammonium Sulfate, Reusable Hydrogen). Demonstrate and Quantify Cradle-To-Gate Reductions in Carbon Intensity (Ci, CO2E / KG of Product) of at Least 30% for the Production of Cement, Assuming Substitution of Alumina Oxide from the Recycling Process for Conventional Bauxite, Compared to Cement Produced with Conventionally Mined And/OR Transported Bauxite.
