Purpose: Construction of an Approximately 66,000 Gross Square Foot Research, Development, and Innovation Facility - the Center for Bioscience - to Be Located Directly Adjacent to Uofl's Speed School of Engineering on the Belknap Campusactivities to Be Performed: The Center Will Support Activities Including the Design, Prototyping, Testing, and Refinement of Biomedical Technologies and Platforms; Translational Research Conducted in Partnership with Federal and Industry Collaborators; and Applied Technology Development Efforts Addressing Real World Health Challengesexpected Outcomes: Construction of the Center for Bioscience Will Enhance the University of Louisville's Ability to Translate Its Research Into Practical Solutions and Support Sustained Collaboration with Federal Agencies and Industry Partners.intended Beneficiaries: Federal Agencies and Industry Partners Engaged in Sponsored and Applied Research Will Benefit from Access to a Center Purposely Designed to Support Collaborative Research and Development Activities Addressing Real-World Health Challengessubrecipient Activities: None.
