Description

The Purpose of the Project Is to Complete Clearance Improvements to Allow for Double-Stack Train (Dst) Service on Csx?s I-95 Rail Corridor Between Baltimore and Philadelphia. The Project Is Needed to Ensure This Portion of Csx?s I-95 Rail Corridor Continues to Serve as a Critical Link Connecting the Local, Regional, and National Transportation Network. The Anticipated Improvements, Which Consist of Tunnel Reconstruction, Bridge Replacement-Modification and Track Lowering, Will Be Constructed Primarily Within Existing Rail Corridor Rights-Of-Way. Once the Project Is Complete, 100 Percent of Csx?s Primary Intermodal Network Will Be Cleared for Double-Stack Rail. By Addressing This Long-Standing Freight Bottleneck, the Project Will Improve Operational Efficiencies Within the National Multimodal Freight Network.

Why the labels? The graph is only worth anything if the links are trusted. Facts taken straight from a federal filing are ✓ from source; anything we compute or infer (corporate parents, districts, competitors) is ≈ inferred and worded carefully, never asserted as fact.
